General Information

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with over 14 years of experience in mental health and substance abuse treatment. My expertise lies in diagnosis and medication management, with a focus on providing psychotherapy when necessary. Initial psychiatric evaluations typically last 30-60 minutes to gather comprehensive patient history and current symptoms, followed by discussions on medication options. Follow-up appointments, usually 15 minutes in duration, are scheduled to monitor progress, adjust medication doses, or introduce new medications as needed. For patients on non-controlled medication, follow-ups occur every 3-4 weeks until a stable regimen is established, transitioning to quarterly visits thereafter. Controlled medication refills or adjustments necessitate monthly follow-up visits. Presently, I exclusively offer telehealth services, with plans to expand to in-person consultations to comply with regulatory requirements. Appointment availability typically ranges from one to two weeks, with flexibility for evening and weekend appointments based on weekly scheduling.
